Backgroud: I came across Bade Achhe Lagte Hain Season-1 (BALH) series due its romantic ringtone. It was my mom’s mobile tone which attracted me. During holidays, I watched it with my sister. After a week, when I got introduced to all characters, I decided to watch its previous episodes. I searched over internet and enjoyed them.
This was my story of linking with Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Now, Lets review the series. We have our special methods of reviewing Entertainment related arts. For series, we will go on discussing following points one by one.
According to me, 3 most outstanding performances are;
1. Priya Kappor played by Sakshi Tanvar
2. Ram Kapoor played by Ram Kapoor (Both on-screen and off-screen names are same)
3. Neha Shergil (Vikram’s wife) played by Tarana Raja Kapoor
Success of the series is due to qualitative act performed by all. Sudhir Sharma’s middle class father’s role (played by Prithvi Sankla) is eye catching. Natasha’s negative character is worth remarkable.
Songs and Music:
As I said earlier, it is the music, which attracted me toward serial. Title song is fabulous. It’s male version is heart touching. I thank composer Lalit sen and Nawab arzoo for making magical tune and congratulate Shreya Ghoshal and Trijayh Dey for giving golden touch to it.
This family drama is receiving highest TRP from audience. But I am deeply unhappy with one episode, the bed scene between Priya and Ram. I think director totally turned from their original goal to achieve highest TRP and to fetch media attention.
End of season-1 is practical than romantic. Season-1 ends with the court decision which declares 14 years jail to Priya. Thank god, no emotional drama at the end!!
Basic plot of the script is much strong to involve people thinking about upcoming happenings. Riding story around ram’s family, Priya’s family, her personal problems, Vikram Shergil’s family keeps audience to sit and watch for next slot of episode.
I like Priya’s one dialogue, she often says, “Mr. Kapoor……” Her words remain in my ears for long time. Another word which I would like to mention here is ‘Golu’, Ram’s nickname.
They stretch each and every moment of script for a long time. Can’t they show it slight faster than now? I know they do it for TRP and stretching such events increases our enthusiasm, but it will be good if they do not stretch it more.
Those who enjoyed season-1 are lucky and those who missed it can enjoy upcoming season.
